For the second interview I've chosen to speak with an what you might call old-timer in TG. He's known for chatting a lot in teamspeak and being a very friendly guy. You know who he is, AngelDust!
The Interview
Hi AD!
- You will address me as Sir.
Having been in TG for quite a while now, what has been your favourite moments here, any special happenings?
- TG gatherings. There is nothing like a bunch of like minded loons on a server trying to complete an objective that no one is sure what it is in the first place. Back in the good old days when I was still the sub-division leader of JK2. Nothing pleased me more than see you lot waving your sabers around, trying to get the gist of the game and failing miserably. Yet I felt so proud when you pulled off your first DFAs and lunges. Good times.
You were missing the other year after joining the army, how was it after being away so much from gaming and all the people you've gotten to know here?
- Refreshing. Gods known I needed the exercise and downtime from Goaty. That man is insatiable.
Most people around here equals AD with madness, carnage, fun quotes and general craziness all in a good way. What do you think you've done to paint up that image of yourself?
- I'm an innocent victim of my own antics. Seriously though, it could be my attitude when it comes to gaming. I play for fun and I want others to have fun as well and therefore I try to crack a joke here and there... or it could be for plenty of other reasons...
So, outside of the gaming part, what do you do for a living at the moment?
- I am an academic parasite so my time is consumed by study and possibly binge drinking (I admit nothing. Not even the study).
I remember hearing you play the harmonica a couple of times, any chance that we might get to hear it again soon?
- Sure thing. Just put on that gimp suit I send you last Christmas and we can get on with the slaying of eardrums if you so wish me to feed your sadomasochistic tendencies.
How come you started out gaming, what was it that made you realize that this was something worth spending time with?
- Once upon a time I went to my friend's place and saw him play ET. That is when I though: "Golly that sure looks like fun! I'll give it a go." And after many a twist and turn we come right here.
Favourite hobby besides gaming?
- Recently I have spend plenty of time trying to figure out how in the name of all that is good and pure do the busses in my new hometown go about. There is no sense in it! THE WHOLE THING IS BANANAS!
And now for my 6 quick-questions!
Cola or Coffee?
- Cola.
PlayStation or Xbox?
- As an owner of both consoles I must say Xbox.
Online or Offline?
- Always online; even when offline.
Sweden or Norway?
- Finland.
Favourite ingredients on a pizza?
- Spam, Spam, Bacon, Spam, Egg and Spam with a side dish of peril suitably perilous. /I think I filled the obligatory Monthy Python Quota./
Favourite game of all time..?
- Legacy of Kain
Thanks for the interview AD!
- It is Sir AD! You have insulted me for the last time knave! We shall duel at dawn. Bring your own pies if you cannot afford pies the court shall provide you with some. You have the right for pineapple flavour.
